Welcome to PowerliftingAI Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, chatbot, and related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using PowerliftingAI.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Use of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Service. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not attempt to interfere with, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service or its data.

2. No Coaching, Medical, or Nutritional Advice

The information provided by PowerliftingAI is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as professional medical, nutritional, or coaching advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, diet, or training.

PowerliftingAI may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated output before relying on it.

You acknowledge that physical training carries inherent risks and that you assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your reliance on the Service.

3. User Accounts

You may authenticate using third-party providers such as Google through Supabase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at powerlifting.ai.01@gmail.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

PowerliftingAI offers subscription-based access to certain features. All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers such as Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees until you cancel.

All subscription fees are non-refundable once the Service has been accessed, except where required by applicable consumer law. By subscribing and accessing the Service immediately, you acknowledge that you waive any statutory cooling-off period where legally permitted.

5. Intellectual Property and User Content

All content, software, design, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with PowerliftingAI are the exclusive property of PowerliftingAI Ltd or its licensors.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit through the Service. By submitting content (including chat inputs), you grant us a licence to process and store it as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

PowerliftingAI relies on third-party platforms, including Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments, and external large language models (LLMs) for AI responses. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for any loss or issues arising from third-party systems or service interruptions beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall be strictly limited to the lesser of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the six (6) months before the claim; or (b) £100 (one hundred pounds sterling). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded under English law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PowerliftingAI Ltd, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful or unlawful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your information as described therein.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, business operations, or applicable laws. The updated version will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PowerliftingAI Ltd regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

16. Acceptable Use

17. Service Availability and “As-Is” Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or reliability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
